Yoma עברית

The voice journal that becomes a book

Speak your day. Hold it in your hands.

Talk for a minute. Yoma writes the page and binds your days into a real book.

Talk about your day for a minute, or type it. Yoma writes it up as a page with your photos and lays it into a book you turn in the app. When the book feels complete, order it as an A5 hardcover, delivered to your door.

Keep scrolling. It turns its own pages.A book of small days.A book of small days.

It opens on its title page. The title, the line under it and who it’s by are yours to write.

A dedication if you want one, then the month at a glance: every day you wrote, marked.

Every moment set for you: your words, the date, the place, your photos. Nothing to lay out.

A short evening takes a few lines. A day with photos gets the room it needs.

That’s a whole September, in the Classic design. Drag a page corner if you’d like to turn it yourself; otherwise, just keep scrolling.

You’re turning the pages now. Keep scrolling and the book carries on by itself.

A sample September, written for this page and set by the app itself: a title page, a dedication, the month at a glance and the days, with photos.

How it works

A minute of talking. A page worth keeping.

  1. You talk, or type

Say it the way you’d tell a friend, with no prompts and no blank page. Yoma keeps the recording and writes it up, leaving out the ums.

  2. It becomes a page

The moment you save, it’s set in your open book: a title, the date, the time and your photo, in the book’s own design. Nothing to lay out.

  3. Close it, and it’s a book

Each journal keeps one open book. Close it after a month, a season or a school year; a trip closes itself the day you’re home. Read it in the app, or order it printed.

Your voice stays yours.

Privacy

Private to your account

Recordings, photos and pages are kept in your own account. Nothing is published or shared unless you choose to.

Delete anytime

A recording, a moment, a whole journal or your account.

Export anytime

Your writing, photos and recordings, on any plan.

Your days find their own shape.

No templates to fill. The book arranges itself around what actually happened; all you do is talk.

  • A page full of text from a long day, running on to the next page

A long daygets room to run on, over the page and onto the next.

  • One page holding several short days, one under another

Quiet daysshare a page. A line about soup doesn’t waste a sheet.

  • A page of a day with many photos, set like an album

A day full of photosis set like an album, in the design’s own frames.

Journals

A different book for each part of your life.

Every journal starts from the same simple moment: talk, add photos. Each type then adds a few fields of its own, most of which fill themselves in, a special page in the book and a design made for it.

For ordinary days

Everyday

Tell it about the first rain and the roof that finally cooled down. Nothing extra to fill in: the simplest journal, on purpose.

Fills in for you
Date and time, the place if you allow it, and a suggested title.
In the book
Short days gather together, long days get room, and the month at a glance. Choose its look: Classic, Notebook or Magazine.

For your kid

My child

Their age is worked out and printed on every page. Keep the exact thing they said as a quote, and mark a first with one tap: first word, steps, food, a tooth.

Fills in for you
Age, from their birthday, on every moment.
In the book
“She said” speech bubbles, FIRST stamps, and a Firsts & growing page with height, weight and teeth if you add them.

For a trip

Travel

Pick a handful of photos and talk. The day number comes from your dates, the place from where you are, and if you tell it when you’re back, the book closes itself that day.

Fills in for you
“Day 3” and the place.
In the book
A day band on every day, the places in the margin and a map of your route, in the travel log design.

For the 4 a.m. dream

Dreams

It opens straight to the mic on a dark, dim screen, because nobody types half asleep. It notes when you woke and the moon, and suggests symbols you have dreamed before.

Fills in for you
Wake-up time, moon phase, and recurring symbols as suggestions.
In the book
A moon for every night, tags like lucid and recurring, and an index of symbols with page numbers.

And four more.

Ideas

Every idea gets a card and a status that grows with it: seed, growing, done. In the book: a card for every idea and an index of tags.

Gratitude

Three numbered lines instead of a blank page. Say all three in one breath and Yoma splits them for you. No streaks, no scores.

Health

Mostly taps, about ten seconds a day: sleep, mood, energy and activity, charted across the book, and a day flagged for the doctor.

Your own

Start blank or copy a type, and switch on the fields you need. A running log is distance, time and place, and Yoma works out the pace.

Screens and pages shown with example moments.

Book design

Every journal comes with its own book. You make it yours.

Classic

Literary, for everyday and your own

Serif type and wide margins. The cover: cloth with the title in gold, and a painting or a photo of yours if you like, in burgundy, navy or forest green.

Notebook

A scrapbook, for everyday and your own

Dotted paper, photos taped in at an angle and date stamps. The cover: kraft board with one of your photos taped on, or just a label.

Magazine

A magazine, for everyday and your own

Your photo on the cover with your own moments as its cover lines, big pictures inside and bold headlines.

Travel log

For a trip

Day counters, the places in the margin, a map of your route and the trip in numbers. The cover: map paper, with a painting or a photo from the trip.

Childhood

For your child

Soft colours and rounded corners, their age on every page, the words they said and a page of firsts. The cover: a soft painting with their name, or a photo of them.

Dreams

For the night

Night blue, a moon beside every night, the time you woke, and an index of the symbols that keep coming back.

In Book design you change the cover (one of your photos, a painting or just the title), its colour, the paper, the photo frames and the pages inside, right up until you order. The whole book re-sets itself, with no words to re-type.

In the app

Contents

And what else Yoma does around the book.

  1. A book you can turn01

Every book lives in the app as a real 3D book. Turn its pages, pinch into one, read it in bed.

  2. Edit on the page02

Long-press a photo where it’s printed to move it, resize it or frame it. Fix a word in place.

  3. Words of your own03

A title, a dedication, an epigraph and a line for the back cover. Or none of them.

  4. A Story that knows the journal04

Ask, and a rambling recording becomes a clean story in your own words. A dream stays a dream, a child’s name is spelt right, a trip keeps its places. It never adds what you didn’t say.

  5. Swipe between moments05

Open a moment, then swipe to the next one, like turning pages.

  6. On your home screen06

Android widgets keep the book you’re writing one tap away.

  7. Six languages07

English, Hebrew, Arabic, Russian, Spanish and French. A Hebrew book is set right to left and opens from the right.

Questions

Something missing? Write to us and a person will answer.

hello@getyoma.com

Who can hear my recordings?
Only you, unless you share them. Recordings live in your account, not in public, and you can export everything any time.
Do I have to talk?
No. You can type any moment, or mix: talk on the walk home, fix a word later. Talking is simply the fastest way to get a day down before it fades.
Is AI writing my diary for me?
No. Yoma writes down what you say and leaves out the ums. An AI Story, only when you ask for one, tidies a long recording into a story in your own words, and never adds what you didn’t say. You can edit every word.
What if I miss a few days?
Nothing breaks. There are no streaks to lose: quiet days gather on one page, and a busy day gets as much room as it needs.
I’ve never kept a journal past a week.
That’s who Yoma is for. A minute is enough, and a missed day leaves no gap in the book.
What happens if I stop paying for Premium?
The books you made stay yours, to read and to print, and nothing is deleted. New moments go to your diary and one other journal, the Free allowance.
What exactly is founder pricing?
The first 500 people on the waitlist get Yoma Premium for ₪89 a year instead of ₪120, for as long as they stay subscribed.
When can I use it, and who makes it?
Yoma isn’t released yet. It comes to Android first, then iOS, and people on the waitlist hear first. It’s made by a small team in Israel.
